    ... The hike was very pretty, with some parts of walking through rocky volcanic type terrain, and a little bit of forest at the end. I was very tired and struggled to make it there. Just before we got to the meadow, we met a guy on the trail who had been camping/backpacking there. We asked him if the meadow was far and told him we had never been there before.
