We had a long travel day from Custer SD to Baymont Inn & Suites in Wahpeton ND and came to a very nice large room. It was clean and had all the amenities. TV, WiFi. Refrigerator. Microwave.
They also have free continental breakfast. Waffles, bagels, toast, hard boiled eggs, cereal, muffins, packages of oatmeal, and fruits. Coffee and orange juice as well.
The room was cleaned everyday and replenished with the necessities - towels (although we chose to reuse ours), soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc.
The Baymont Inn & Suites is a place to stay in Wahpeton.

Day two of the cousins reunion. We woke up around 7 AM and had breakfast at the hotel. We headed out to downtown Rosholt. We drove through main street to see if there were any changes. There were no changes since Joel's last visit in 2013. Then, we visited Joel's parents and brother's grave sites. Joel cleared some of the weeds around the headstones. He cried because he missed them. On the way back to Wahpeton, we stopped by Paul and Lana Sands' home. ...
This entry is only to keep my map current. We came across the eastern part of North Dakota, past Fargo and into Minnesota where we stayed at a great city park for the night. All grass and, with ************e there, peaceful.
I went for a run in the morning and then we headed across Minnesota towards Duluth...past ALL those lakes in Minnesota! So many of them.
