We traveled farther down the coast to a short trail off of the Redwood Highway – Hidden Beach. ... the forest and passes some tourist traps . . . Err . . . I mean attractions. Around 1pm I was getting really cold and stopped for some coffee to warm up. They had warm homemade blackberry cobbler and I figured that would warm me up too. Just to be sure I did not get too warm I had them throw a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. ... your **** with sawdust and wood chips and compost it in their many vegetable and flower beds. They haven't had rain since June and sleep outside until Sept. It is lovely and serene and cleansing and they are some fantastic folks! They set me up with my very comfy van-bed and covers and great travel advice and were fantastic.

Tomorrow I head for San Francisco and home. Then I'll do a retrospective of my trip with new pics and mileage estimate.
