Although none of us were feeling 100% the next morning (one of ...

... spoilt with fantastic scenery along the way, until we pulled into Meeks Bay Campground. We set up camp and took a stroll down to the small beach at the lake edge which was beautiful. Across the lake big green mountains dominated the skyline. We walked around a bit further and watched as the sky and few fluffy clouds turned a pinky orange in the sunset, which then reflected off the lake. Amazing. We headed back to cook dinner and crawl in our tent for the night. It is ...

... the Dean organising it concept didn't last long, ha ha. Dean, myself and Reuben & Jasper left the venue on the 11pm shuttle, Sean stayed on. What happened after stays on the mountain but it got a bit messy and so did Ciaran...that's all I'll say in writing. Except Sean had to walk the half an hour from The Village to our lodging in pitch black at 3am ish, and was very vigilant about bears! That would have sobered him ...
