    ... Carlsbad we drive to Dallas. Best known for the murder of John F Kennedy in 1963. We visit the place where it happened and meet a guy who was there in 1963. He was 13 years old at the time and is convinced there was more than one shooter. Every day you can find him on the grassy knoll , telling his story and selling magazines that support his view. We also watch a baseball game at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Rangers vs Giants. Rangers win thanks to a 2-run homer by Josh Hamilton ...

    ... is more of a first birthday tradition to have a smash cake but we thought it would be fun - and it was!!

    The next day, we went to Mama's work where there was a grand Elmo party. It was great to see everyone. Addy really enjoyed the salami and honey sesame cashews!     ... I wanted and ended up, instead, on a road that didn't really exist anymore. Keep in mind, it's pitch black too. The TomTom didn't know that so kept insisting I keep driving. I promptly locked the doors as I expected the cast of Breaking Bad to leap out at any second. Once I hit the dead end, I turned around and told the lady-voice to recalculate. Things went better from there.

    ... Second best benefit: Getting a true break from work, which made me feel ready to jump back in when I got home.

    I added some more photos from Lleida, flamenco, and Sagrada Familia earlier in the blog, so take a look if you like. Traveling is much more fun if you can share it, so thanks for your interest. One last word of advice from me -- we remember and value experiences much more than things. So if it's a choice, always choose the experience.
