... for a while, another told me how this Texan musician couldn't get someone to publish his music in the US, but Australia did. I then got asked to say something, anything so they could hear my accent. I obliged and then joined in with part of Eric Vogals song 'And the band played Waltzing Matilda'. Next they sang me 'the man in the big hat' a Texan cowboy song. Kelley gave me his card and told me if I was ever over this way again to look him up. A grand time was had ...

Yep- gotta get a cholesterol check once we return ...

... I wanted and ended up, instead, on a road that didn't really exist anymore. Keep in mind, it's pitch black too. The TomTom didn't know that so kept insisting I keep driving. I promptly locked the doors as I expected the cast of Breaking Bad to leap out at any second. Once I hit the dead end, I turned around and told the lady-voice to recalculate. ... Second best benefit: Getting a true break from work, which made me feel ready to jump back in when I got home.

I added some more photos from Lleida, flamenco, and Sagrada Familia earlier in the blog, so take a look if you like. Traveling is much more fun if you can share it, so thanks for your interest. One last word of advice from me -- we remember and value experiences much more than things. So if it's a choice, always choose the experience.
