... parking lot is full, including two state troopers, so we stop to take a look. We pick up some cheese, mini apple pie, a homemade frozen pizza for dinner and a pound of salami (not knowing how much a pound really was). At the Veterans home we were fed Bratwurst, Potato Salad and Beans (i am now doing little puffs due all these beans). The veterans absolutely loved us being there and many were heard to comment that this would probably by their highlight of their year. We stayed and chatted to the Vets and ...

... First stop is Walmart, about 1.5 miles up the road and we stock up with supplies and buy a couple of pre-paid mobile phones in case we have any separation issues, now that Cindy is back in my RV and Bev is with Malcolm.

From Walmart, we put Springfield in the GPS and it takes us on a nice scenic tour towards I44 .So scenic, that we stop at one point to confirm we are actually going the right way.

Eventually I44 appears and we turn onto the Interstate and ...
