... socks and sneakers instead of shorts and sandals! My feet were at least comfortable though- and there's nothing worse than sore feet when you have to walk lots of places! I enjoyed my time at Minnehaha Park. The waterfall there is awesome! Fast moving and quite intense! I also met some nice guys at the bicycle rental place there and they got me some water and we chatted for at least an hour! Seems like people in Minnesota are quite intrigued to hear an Australian accent... I ...

The trip was 8 hours and we were only 30mins late, getting in.We were met by Grace and Carroll (Michael's parents) and taken to our hotel. The breakfast area is a little railway station. ...

Isaac is very excited by this, and Jeff and Pat are having to plan a rotation so that all the kids get equal RV time. After Walnut Grove, we'll be spending 2 nights at a guest ranch in the Badlands of South Dakota. We're not certain if we'll have much if any internet access the next 3 nights, so this may be the last blog entry for a ...

    The Lakota Indian Pow-wow

What a great time we had at the Lakota Indian Pow-wow in Shakapee, Minnesota!
It was a trade show along with lots of Indian dancing. The trades were jewelry, Indian paintings, artifacts, etc. The music was pure American Indian and was really enjoyable. I seem to love it more as I hear more of it! The dancing involved beginners, multiple levels of intermediate, and professional dancers. They were graded and ...
