    We had rain in the morning today so we were in no hurry to get going. We packed up and drove from Blaine to poke around in Bellingham. We were told of a great ice cream shop called Mallards which was pretty excellent. We walked around the main streets for a while and then headed into Seattle before it got too late.     A VERY early start for us today - we had to be in downtown Seattle by 10:15, so we got going really early and got there really early - but it was fun to see the city starting to wake up and get going!
