I took the opportunity to mount a new camera I had purchased (a Contour ROAM2) on a handlebar mount with the intention of filming the bridge crossing. We finished our break and headed for the bridge.

... of the last century...remember the movie "Grand Hotel" from the thirties...me neither. Barb and I rent bikes and make the 8 mile circumnavigation of the island in a little over an hour. Once again, a beautiful day and the views of the Straits and the Bridge are superb.

We return the bikes and, now walking a little awkwardly, go up the the Grand Hotel with its majestic front porch looking out over ...
