    Newly renovated. The room was clean and spacious.

    Hotel was located near mall and restaurants and the hockey arena.

    Breakfast was the usual hotel fare

    We decided to gas up in Mackinac City and take a short break before crossing the bridge and making the final run for Sault Saint Marie. I took the opportunity to mount a new camera I had purchased (a Contour ROAM2) on a handlebar mount with the intention of filming the bridge crossing.     ... of the last century...remember the movie "Grand Hotel" from the thirties...me neither. Barb and I rent bikes and make the 8 mile circumnavigation of the island in a little over an hour. Once again, a beautiful day and the views of the Straits and the Bridge are superb.
