Yumy oatmeal for breakfast then headed off to walk into town - about 3.5km, all flat. many of the houses could have been in NZ but I had to keep conciously reminding myself which direction to look when crossing the road. I wanted to get to Santa Rosa Plaza to get a SIM card for my phone, check out the shops and ...

If things don't work out, at least you tried.
If you walk down a path and don't like the road, try another route.
If you don't take chances in life, you will never know.

There was assorted sliced fruits, steel cut Irish oatmeal, other grain cereals with rice, soy and almond milks offered along with cinnamon, mace, nutmeg and stevia brown sugar.. The potato hash was served with salsa, ketchup and barbecue sauce. I loved it.

... to win the 'World' series (actually not so much the world as the US, we are forced to remind one or two guys) and every bar and restaurant has multiple screens showing the action; all around us fans are shouting arcane instructions to the deaf ears of the players.

Next stop Lake Tahoe, where we slowly climb two miles above sea level with our ears popping and our eyes out on stalks at wonderful mountain views. We are surprised to see a little snow on the ground and have to stop ...
