Today we had a big day of travel, firstly taking the train from Washington DC to Newark International Airport and then our 6 hour flight to San Francisco. We decided to walk to Union Station which only took half an hour but was a bloody good workout.
Caught the lovely comfy train to Newark Liberty airport. Was fantastic to finally have wifi after not being able to get it at our accommodation.
... ticket but had an hour to kill so we had lunch. I had an American hot dog - haven't eaten hot dogs in forever after seeing some TV show about it. It was nice but so processed so one was enough. By the time we had lunch the train was arriving. It was so loud! But amazing. We jumped on and were off after about 10 minutes.

Survived our first night at the Cable Car Court hotel! Slept okay but kept waking up because of the creaky bed and noisy fridge. We headed up and down a few hills and got lunch at the yummy Whole Foods Store, soon to become our second home in San Fran. We saw a big sailing event and came across 'Scott Road' what a beautiful name for a road!

... on after a much shorter wait than we would have at the start. S rode on the outrider board hanging on, while I sat down ready to grab him should the need arise. Thankfully that wasn't necessary, and after having the rollercoaster ride up and down the hills we arrived at Fishermans Wharf. ... all the paper work I drove back to the motel to pick up Mactar and Rens. On our way to San Francisco we stopped again at the Apple headquarter and went into the factory store. At around 5 we arrived in our Hotel the Good Hotel, we took all our luggage in the room. After that we took the car and drove down Lombard street and across the golden gate bridge.
