Joliet Correctional Center, which was a completely separate prison from Stateville Correctional Center, Crest Hill, Illinois, opened in 1858.         ... Alarms, a call out and we are down from 10 people to just the Chief and I. Interesting fact, He grew up around the corner from the station, has served on the force for 30 years, Interesting because I am hearing this a lot. The Ambulance crew, easy job, Kid locked in car, It's only 89 degree F outside... Police called them, second crew return. Victim not so lucky :( Oh well Desert, something NEW, they found this cake recipe.... Awesome, ...

        ... It is a great museum. You would not expect something like this in a city of this size. Our favorite were the two room of Impressionist art. Since we arrived a little later than expected, we had to rush through some rooms to get out before they closed!!

        ... toilet decor (see photos). Ate at a chicken restaurant which served 1/2 chicken each with corn balls, onion salad, red bean salad, cottage cheese and beet root. Rather a strange mixture.
        Last night we visited Buddy Guy's blues club but didn't stay. Bought first cd of the trip.

We rocked up to the State Pen, only to me greeted by two Illinois State Cops who threatened to give us a strip search followed by shooting us - KINKY!
