    On the road again

... to go over thru the gate and hang a left. So we did----almost. The left lane to get in is for cars, not motorhomes. No sign to that effect that we saw anyhow.

Not to worry, the card wouldn't work on the scanner. Gail walked back up to the office, about a block away, and got a new one....That one didn't work either, so off she went again and came back empty handed....They didn't give her another one. Said they would come ...

200 miles today but not all in the right direction as we have had some issues with the signs and have taken the wrong road a few times. This will probably happen every day. We have been through a few museums today - Route 66, Pontiac cars and military and have eaten in a couple of diners. Came through Springfield but did not see any Simpsons. We are just outside St Louis so will be into our second state ...

Tripping south I passed through Odell. It was a quaint little village with a very religious feel about it with the massive church and school attached. Odell really is a blink and you will miss it town, that strangely had an underpass near the school to allow children to pass right under route 66 hahaha. Rolling into Pontiac like rolling ...

    Drive to New Orleans

This trip we are bringing Carl and Amy since they are on spring break and Carl turns 21 this year.

Tonight we drove to the border of Missouri and Arkansas and pulled into a rest area.

We got going bright and early Saturday morning.

Parts of I-55 through Mississippi and most of it in Louisiana is pretty horrible. The motorhome bounced like a bucking bronco! We'll look for alternate routing on future trips this way.

... We'll have to get crawl under after we get to Chris' and see if maybe a wire is loose.

Exit 41 on I-55 has "600 Classic Cars!" We'll have to check that out one of these days.
