I had trouble remembering where we are at the moment. I also had trouble remembering which way out of the lift to turn.

So 75miles and it rained none stop but thats ok as you reach a point when you can't get any more wet and to be honest it was not cold when we were cycling. Only when stopped so had one SAG stop to sign in quickly then continued.

Cycled with Kettie, Ingun, PC and Doug all of the day. 4 people fell off due to rain and railroad tracks but ...

6/26 Day 5 Downpour after downpour and rain in between. We are still camped at Deer Ridge in Richmond IN, and took the opportunity to go the 75 miles Indianapolis to go to the Tamale Place. Forcing Lee’s army back into Virginia allowed Lincoln to announce his Emancipation Proclamation freeing all slaves in areas under rebellion by declaring the slaves “contraband.” This made it nearly impossible for England to help the Confederates break the blockade or even offer to mediate a settlement. England had ...

Entry 2, November 11. It is dark and scary and I am all alone. I have been walking for what seems as weeks. I finally walk upon a giant building with an even larger sign, the sign says, "Super 8". I decided that I would walk in and see what is going on here. I walked in and I was warmly greeted with muffins. I felt right at home. They gave me a room for no charge. I gladly went up to the room and when they asked what I ...
