going into power saving mode. BAM, the TV shuts off. I have to sit
down quickly as I feel weak, everyone is yelling and running to the
next room, no it can't be. I am speechless. At exactly the 5 hour
mark the TV was set to turn off. I had just witnessed the work of a
true MASTER, challenged by none. A subtle reminder at 3 hours and a
total power outage at 5 hours. The work of a genius. I slowly enjoy a
handful of chocolate covered nuts or whatever ...
Looking around it seems that we are yet again going to navigate our way through a gift shop. The kitschy key chains with blinking names (but never my name?) are on display, right next to palm tree mugs and picture frames shaped like sunglasses. T-shirts line the walls and sweatshirts are folded in two foot tall stacks just waiting to be dug through to find the right size and color to scream that you were “here!”
What I have learned this month...a new and
Totally different way of life. I suggest inland sailors all move outside & be apart of this cruising world.
1) women aboard are not just mate to cook, wash cloths and scrub boat.
2) be flexible for unforeseen problems, Life happens.
3)cold showers and emptying head :(
