We made it to Cleveland Monday evening and stayed downtown so we'd be closer to the rock n roll hall of fame. We were on a tight schedule and didn't get but an hour to tour which is not remotely enough time. We had tickets to the gran ole opry Tuesday evening so we were going to have to hustle ...

Once we had finished our meal, we had a relaxing night in our hotel rooms to make up for lost hours of ...

Olmsted Falls is about 35 mins from the airfield and a delightful suburb of the city. On the way, we made a pit-stop at a local diner for lunch. An entertaining afternoon and evening was spent chatting with Jan and Terry, sharing stories, and enjoying a delicious home cooked ...

GAME 19 - Progressive Field, plus Rock and Roll

Cleveland Indians vs Chicago White Sox Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Progressive Field has none of the charm or exuberance of Detroit's Comerica Park, but our seats right behind home plate were hard to beat. The Indians won it 6-1, with two home runs by Ryan Raburn. Although I had earlier sworn off daytime games because of the heat, we decided to put our faith in the weather channel and give it another go. ...
