    ... tasty, and they had a decent selection of bottled microbrews for us to try. We all ordered appetizers, and burgers or sandwiches for dinner.     I followed secondary roads and the countryside wasn’t at all what I’d expected. There were lots of wetlands and acreages with huge uncultivated fields. There were lots of little towns along the way and long stretches of hardwood forest and very few straight stretches. I’d never really envisioned it but it wouldn’t have been that if I had.
