      ... 8217;s grape juice!

I followed secondary roads and the countryside wasn’t at all what I’d expected. There were lots of wetlands and acreages with huge uncultivated fields. There were lots of little towns along the way and long stretches of hardwood forest and very few straight stretches. I’d never really envisioned it but it wouldn’t have been that if I had.

It did rain again last night but it cleared up before we awoke. We went to breakfast and then to a grocery store for a few things we needed. The Walmart we parked at was a 24 hour store but it was dead! There was, however, a large grocery store about a block away was called Meijer that was packed! We decided to check it out. We figured it wouldn't be a good photo-op for a circus clown to emerge from the backseat of the patrol car, so I was the lucky one who got to sit back there. We entertained at the local senior center and visited some stores before heading onto the next town.

I remembered the park where our show is being held as soon as we pulled in. We had ...

... to look at and photograph inside as well as outside. Most have had work done to refurbish, restrengthen or even redirect roads around them. It was a bit disconcerting to see the modern road signs plastered to the fronts of the bridges but I suppose it is needed for clearance and weight restrictions. When the sun finally emerged, the bridges were bathed in golden rays and the trees ...
