From Nashville I set off for my last stop on the south side of the Mason Dixon Line. Henderson, Kentucky was my final stop for this chapter of a 10,000 mile road trip. Why Henderson, KY? Because they have a free Blues Festival every year...and it is fantastic! I arrived amidst a downpour. Rain has followed me around 90% of this trip, and I still love it! Friday we headed back home. Loved our stay in Florida, but would probably choose a place closer to the airport next time.

Busy busy! Changing currency, making a packing list, hoping to remember everything on the list, boarding passes, you get the idea! Hard to believe I'll be in Rome one week from today. The weather there is supposed to be nice - almost 60 and sunny! I'll take that in early January. My calendar is cleared so Caina and I can put in some exploration ...
