Brian drove Bailey, Sydney, and Audrey to Valdosta and we met them at the Smoke 'n Pig for lunch. Then we swapped cars with Brian. His car is already packed with all the girl's stuff, plus there will be room for Rachel. Containerized freight! Now we're off to Jacksonville to pick up Rachel and have our first ...

After 3 days at the hot and sweaty Wanee festival, way down on the Suwannee river, the music of the Allman Brothers is alive and well. The band founded the festival here years ago. AB may not exist any more, following their farewell gigs in New York last November, but the band members are mostly here with their own bands, and still playing ...

... Crossed a huge causeway over the Gulf of Mexico and got to see the USS Alabama. We also went through a huge underwater tunnel (reminded me of the Holland Tunnel between NJ/NY) which travelled under Mobile Bay.

When we hit Florida, it was amazing to see state prisoners working on the highway clean up patrol. This is really what prisoners should be doing rather than sitting in the comforts of their cells. Roads ...
