Now that I have no where to be there is no reason to make 500 miles a day. We decided to pull off about half way to Iowa. Having driven in rain for an hour it looks like it is coming back. We have stayed in this park some 20 years ago, but it looks like there are many improvements. As we pull into our site it starts to rain. It is always fun setting up in the rain. As I came into Lincoln and changed down in gears the noise coming from the bike in 5th down to 2nd gear was almost deafening. Only 1st and 6th were free of noise.

We chatted a couple of hrs or so, then off towards the Windy City ...

We find a La Quinta at an outer suburb of St Louis and book online, then head out there. I have mailed work asking for a copy of my license and am hopeful that tomorrow we can get me on as a driver.
