Thank you to my parents for a delicious Tuscan dinner to get us ready for Italy. We are all looking forward to tasting the food in Italy....okay maybe not Emery so much. Max Hornak, Emery may follow in your footsteps and be ordering a lot of pizza!

... right down. It was wonderful once again to catch up with this extended family. We also got lucky and Gary offered us a quart of Diana’s tomatoes to take on our trip.

... br> The stadium wasn't full for this non-conference game, and many fans left at the end of halftime when a tiny bit of rain started falling (it stopped after a few minutes). ... and not simply a number placed in history. As we exited the museum, we entered a garden and a mass burial. Over 250,000 were buried right in front of us. It is something I couldn't fathom and probably will never fathom in my lifetime.

she still would not greet us that way, but now that we all know each
other well enough after two weeks together, she made it very clear
that she was not going to let anyone out of the restaurant without
