    ... Americans. "You" seemed to be his favorite pronoun, not "they". He went on to say that whites just paint a pretty picture for themselves and lie to themselves into thinking the world is ok. I thought this point was good to reflect on, especially doing "service".     ... leave we could barely escape without food being shoved down our throats- I believe Vee is trying to fatten us up for something, what, I don't know. We went from there back to the house to change (with only taking one small wrong turn) and went to another sister house for dinner.     ... bite and lasted until the next bite. The cheesy corn bake was like eating mac 'n cheese with corn substituted for the noodles. It was extremely good. You couldn’t really taste the corn in it at all. The slaw was mayonnaise-based and just a typical finally shredded slaw. It was average in taste and not too runny. The toast was grilled with the grilled flavor very evident with his crispiness and hint of BBQ taste.

    ... complemented well by the sweet tanginess of the barbecue sauce. The spicy slaw was vinegar-based with just a little kick. Paired very well with the ribs and brisket to give it just a little extra spice at the end. Even the Texas toast had a taste that was unique. They also had a hot barbecue sauce that lacked the sweetness of the regular sauce but instead had a spicy tanginess.
