We rolled into Tennessee and found yet another beautiful park and landed a space one camping row away from Onion Creek, or across the road. On a map, we are smack dab in the middle of the ole' Volunteer State. A very small picturesque town east of Nashville. The homes dotting the rolling green hills and forest are all stately and red brick. It was a great place to continue what we have been doing - riding bikes, enjoying the fresh air ...

... it too commercialized. It can't compare with the antiques stores on the east coast. We then went to the Johnny Cash Museum in Nashville. It was fun, informative and interesting. What an intriguing person he was. If you are in the Nashville area, put in your agenda. I have attached some photos. Tomorrow we will head to Memphis, stopping at Sun Studio....birth place of rock n' roll. Counting the days to see my family! Love, ...

... found Tennessee highway 840, a bypass, which skirted around Nashville and much less traffic. The only interesting thing was that the road only opened less than a year ago and our GPS (we've named Bertha) had no idea where we were. We had planned to take Natchez Trace and take in the views, but decided to pull over early and relax and enjoy the weather (perfect) blossoming trees. Today was the first day for shorts (camo with cargo ...

... Listened to music it was fun to be in a famous place. Went in to Bass Boat place to show Santiago how big it was. We all did some shopping. We bought separate things and were in separate lines, there total was $94.94 and our total was $94.94. Couldn't believe it! Went and bought two lottery tickets. We went to Costco and bought more wine and a bunch of Christmas ...

... After being at Graceland yesterday, we were really disappointed with this place, even though we did like the copy of the home she grew up in as the Coal Miner’s daughter on the property. Her Plantation Home is beautiful and if you were really love Loretta Lynn then you will be excited about coming here.

If our kids were still young and we stopped here they would have loved it because where our site was the creek had a great ...
