Dad just repeats himself, “It’s no good.”

A few days later, Mom approaches me in the dining room. “Your Dad and I talked it over, and we decided to buy you a new car as your graduation gift.”

We were up early today and left the campground by 8 a.m. We are heading to the Upper Peninsula but will stop half way. Made a reservation at a KOA in Roscommon at Higgins Lake. The week previous to leaving Connellsville was activity filled as I cleaned and restocked the MH for another round of travel. It was a bittersweet time; leaving my sister and her family who took such good care of me to head West to unknown destinations.

For five days, I have had company on ...

      The End of Month One

Our last night for October was spent in the Camping World in Houghton parking lot, as we needed to get some warranty work done. They have electric hook-up for two campers so it was nice. We did stop for some caches on the way down at Hanson Hills and then did the same in Houghton while we were waiting on the camper. Highly recommend this Camping World to anyone who needs sales or service. They go out ...
