When I left Santa Fe I was hearing a noise in my tires but, I just thought it was the result of a 13 year old car. As the noise got louder each day I began to think....hmmmm...this thing may not make it but, I'll just wait until it breaks down and then use my premier AAA card to be towed to where ever I needed. This didn't stop me from ...
Twin Falls, Idaho, United States pilgrimthomas... be a very boring job but it is one way to increase the number of jobs availble.
The other things that I learnt was that it is annoying trying to set up hour tent in the dark. It is really hard to tell what the ground is like before you set it up. Head torches are really useful in this situation as you still have both hands free to set everything up while still having light to see.
My Mom and Dad met at the Boise Courthouse in 1936 and eloped to Cascade in March of 1937. I wanted to go to the courthouse in Cascade and get a copy of their marriage license. The drive up through the high, bare mountains followed along the Payette Rive. At times the river was quiet as a pond and around the next corner it was crashing white water ...
Twin Falls, Idaho, United States journal70... s Pizza" to take back salad and a thin-crust pizza for dinner. We had to wait 40 minutes--extremely popular place!--but it was storming outside so the wait was just as well.
We watched "Flashpoint" back in our room during dinner, and afterwards I walked down to the gorge to take photos. On the way back I decided on a different route that took me by a small tributary with a bridge and small ...
Well decided to head west through Idaho instead of south to Salt Lake City to go see Crater Lake. Driving through Idaho was a bit frustrating at times. I think there is more road construction going on here then anywere else, and the worst part is I came to an intersection claiming one road was closed and the other was the detour but the opposite was true. Perhaps I misread the sign but I don't think so, so I ended up having the ...
Twin Falls, Idaho, United States cmbuchholz... to Victor, ID - right next to the Tetons and we'll do Yellowstone - but, right now, this is the place to visit. I also had to drive the RV back from the falls - and we are still in one piece!!!!!
Just finished round of mini golf that came with the stay - it was fun, and now the grils are getting ready for another visit to the pool!
Check out these pictures - they don't do justice! Also, can somebody tell me what this strange creature is? It looks like fat squirrel with thin tail?
I went with my dad, step-mom, grandma and uncle to Shoshone Falls in Southern Idaho. Shoshone Falls is part of the Snake River, about 5 miles east of the city Twin Falls. It's sometimes called "Niagara of the West" and is actually higher than Niagara Falls, although it is definitely less well-known. It's 212 feet high (64.7 meters), which is 36 feet (10.97 meters ...

Twin Falls, Idaho, United States maccasworldtourHello everyone! Well, we are on our way back to the east coast. Yesterday we spent the early morning packing up the rest of our gear and pushing little things into the small holes that were left in our trailer, gave the apartment a good scrub-down and hit the road. Amazingly, the second we merged onto the highway as we left Portland, the phone rang ...

After I had driven about 8 miles I realized that I was going in the wrong direction so I had to double back. Heading west again I was roughly following the course of the Snake River and several man made lakesalong the way. I stopped at Masssacre Rock State Park ...
