This hotel is listed as a Holiday Inn Express but it behaves like a regular Holiday Inn including a restaurant in the hotel. The rooms was as expected clean and comfortable. The good thing and the bad thing about Holiday Inns is that they are consistent and this hotel was no exception. We were given a voucher for breakfast at the hotel restaurant that more than covered what we ordered. I will stay here again.

i had a great time in Colorado Springs. Some good down time and a kitchen fix making dinner one night. Nothing fancy - just left overs stuffed in crepes. We went to Hillside Gardens for concert night. Good sounds and atmosphere but I do not recommend the food. Took off for Cheyenne this morning. I was going to see ...

Cold nights makes one long for a little warmth and pampering, so tonight, seduced by the promise of an indoor pool and hot tub, we checked into the Days Inn in North Platte, somewhere in the middle of Nebraska.

Hi all, The corn wasn't as high as an elephant's eye, but the fields of corn stretched from Kansas City most of the way to mid-Nebraska at which point the Sandhills took over with hay and cows. At a highway rest stop I got to ask a few farming questions of the information attendant before John dragged me away (onward ever onward!) -- answers: 1. These miles of corn are mostly grown for cattle feed, as seed crops, and for corn ...
