    ... sunset and saw some cool things. There were lots of little white bivalves whose siphons were sticking into the sand to feed. The water would wash over then and then they'd use their foot to bury in the sand. So interesting to watch. The highlight was a large pod of dolphins. There were so many. I saw one jump out and another lift itself out of the water so its whole head and half of its torso was sticking out. So much better than going to an aquarium. We were ...

    ... 1.98 per gallon. I was amazed to see fields and fields of cotton trees! That was a first. We stopped for pulled pork for lunch at a cute road side restaurant and kept going and going until Pensacola, Florida and stopped at a hotel in Golf Breeze.     ... we seem to have left the no see ums behind. There are a few mosquito and biting flies but they can normally be controlled by repellant. Over the last two weeks we have done very little sightseeing but just enjoyed the coast and it is a beautiful coastline not visited by the majority of overseas visitors to the U.S. We have stayed at least three or four nights at each stop before moving on.     ... the dog would pull out his ears sometime when they got in his way of dancing. It was an excellent time and we stayed out much later than we anticipated!
