    ... when packing up this morning, he was in one of the leveling blocks underneath the tire. Kids wanted to take him with, of course. Find it interesting that each state has a different "feel" about them, pretty neat! Arrived at Santa Rosa beach state park, very beautiful, and HUMID! Love our campsite.     Sun, fun, surf, and family. Could not have been a better trip. For the adventurous travelers there is a zip line at the boardwalk; also plenty of paddle boarding, boogie boarding, and skim boarding. For the more leisure travelers there are plenty of shops and beautiful white sand beaches to take strolls on and great surf shops with walking distance of any hotel and beach.     ... the dog would pull out his ears sometime when they got in his way of dancing. It was an excellent time and we stayed out much later than we anticipated!

    On Halloween, T and Gav showed us around the French Quarter where we devoured some beignets from Café Dumond, got some croissants at a friend's bakery and as if we hadn't had enough fried and buttery dough, we also ate a couple-day old doughnuts that were hanging out in the shop.
