    ... interior and it was all modern...I was wanting to see old town charm...tin ceilings dark wood, candles and romantic Italian feel and elegance..but NOT....it looked like a typical restaurant...

    Oh well...So we were immediately seated and given menus. We also gave a drink orders, tea for Noel and I and Budweiser Draft for Tony..Tony and I ordered a flatbread veggie ...

    Not a good day.....

    ... t in the backup described above. Altogether, a 5 hour drive took us 8 .5 hours.
    Then, when we got to the hotel, we noticed that the ice chest was leaking water. Turns out the plug had not been put back in when we emptied out the water this morning. Had to practically unpack the van (not easy, since it was piled full of souvenirs) and put up the seat to dry it out.
    Our worst day by far. But we are dry now, and full from a steak at Texas Roadhouse, so all is good again......

    ... anything remotely interesting to write about every single day which is hilarious to write because we're on a circus and in a new town every day so I'm sure you don't believe me.

    But the best part of today was the pizza party. Mr. North, our owner, treated the entire cast and crew to pizza, drinks and desserts and the Charlestown Pizza Co. closed ...

    ... still scenic, doesn't offer much variety as we travel through the various states. The rolling hills start to get steeper as we pass through Louisville, which makes for a nicer drive. The leaves are starting to become even more colourful, and I'm sure the colours are only going to get better the further north we go. I hope we haven't missed all colour back home.     ... if in the Cincinnati area.
    I also cheated and took the beltway around Cincinnati rather than route 50 through the city. It was rush hour and would not have been good for my disposition.
    The rivers are full and running brown from all of the run off. There is a flash flood watch for this area until tomorrow evening
