Our nero out of the Top of Georgia Hostel worked out pretty well, letting us be some of the first to Plumorchard Gap Shelter and giving us plenty of time to rest and hang out. Around sunset it started raining and it continued into the night, raining pretty hard at times. ... strain of backpacking 10 plus miles everyday. I'm planning on going to see a doctor tomorrow to see if I can do anything about my knees. Other than this little setback I'm having a great time! There's something refreshing about carrying everything you need on your back, climbing up the tallest mountains I've ever been on, then meeting the same insane people that do it ...

... called Mountain Crossing that sells pizza and coffee so I quickly changed my mind. I ended up staying here in the hostel, it's supposed to pour tonight so I couldn't pass up the opportunity for a dry bed. Planning on doing about 11 miles tomorrow, it's supposed to rain and snow tomorrow so we will see if I'm able to make it to Low Gap ...
