... just hoping that it would go ok! We then headed out and requested an uber who drove us to the ferry building marketplace - we wandered down the pier and had a Starbucks and then met our tour guide outside the ferry building - she was nice - Molly - a bit odd, but ok - she walked us around the food market and we tried bread, cheese (Americans don't know what real 'strong' cheese is), French macaroons, cured meat, beef chilli, burnt caramel ...

After returning the car we walked to Ghiradelli Square - the 'Cadbury' of the ...

... Another thing we have noticed over here is how much soft drink they all drink. It seems to always be bottomless cups! After lunch we drove about 3 1/2 hours to Oakhurst where we are staying overnight and then going onto Yosemite tomorrow. Weather has once agin been really nice, it is cold but fine. We haven't had a single bad day so ...

... t done in almost 5 years as this is normally off limits. Sitting in the dug out and walking into the field are probably the highlights, however the whole tour was really interesting. Will be interesting to watch a Giants game on tv next time. I believe my place as No 1 is secure. My men are not particularly keen to head to the giant redwoods in Muir Woods so I head there with my adopted family The Creevey's. In hindsight I should have gone alone ...
