When I opened the book I was a little apprehensive as the first were all terrorist convicts, not quite sure the point of the scheme would be to send hate mail to these inmates. Been in San Fran for a while, staying at the Hilton sick of take away/ restaurant food. We have seen and been to the bay bridge, Golden Gate Bridge, pier 39, Alcatraz, salsolito, Fishermans wharf and other stuff. Alcatraz was really cool. ... should know better. Firstly Gil was unable to find the right bus stop and with the help of a homeless lady I got us on the bus. Perhaps that was my mistake. After hopping off the bus at somewhere that appears to be in the middle of nowhere we walk aimlessly. We got a much delayed start and ended up going to Desiree's 9am brunch by noon. We ran into some characters out in the street, Andy and Bunny, and wandered upstairs.
