We awoke for a quick breakfast and the return drive to Ft. Lauderdale. Finding lunch in time was tricky, and somehow there was a sense of urgency getting to the airport on time, even though we had planned it out and left in plenty of time. Made it to the airport, and safely home, though.

Monday came and went with conference presentations. I found myself with a bit of free time just after 4 pm and before dinner, so I decided to drive a couple of miles to downtown Bloomington, a town of 70,000. Unfortunately for me and Joey, we would be more likely to see her if she were to stay in China, because both of us found out as soon as we got home that we received full scholarships from the China Scholarship Council to study abroad this coming year! But that story is yet to come, first let me finish up this trip....
