... in 2003 for $1.8 million to tom Post, real estate magnate and lawyer. He set out to finish the building, but it burned to the ground in 2004. Post was undaunted, and built the thing all over again. It is now a massive bed and breakfast inn (rooms starting at $195 a night—tax not included—for a room smaller than ours at the Day’s Inn) and a center for a variety of events such as weddings. There was a nice trail to the Little Missouri River with an overlook where you could see a few teepees across the water. By far the best place we’ve stayed so far!

I'd say this is what we were hoping for when we planned this trip, and it feels good.

... to describe it. They’re HUGE and beautiful. With the addition of the feather pieces, there’s been a reconfiguring of the prop truck yet again and John was told we’ll have to make some adjustments to his big props to make them pack smaller. They’re fairly easy adjustments, but they want them done by tomorrow and we have to do crew laundry tomorrow too. I’m not entirely sure how it’s all going to get done, but hopefully we’ll get some help and make it ...
