I would like to describe for you what it was like, but you'll just have to come some time for yourself. The temperature in the cave was around 60F, so it was a bit cool, but not chilly. Stayed at yet another lovely state park campgrounds, Brantley Lake State Park. Beautiful desert location. Picture this, taking the elevator down 750 feet in one minute to enter the cavernous wonders of Carlsbad Cavern! It was an incredible visual experience with each turn of the head. Spring Break in caves

... we stopped at Carlsbad caverns. All the challenging tours were booked. But we got to visit the whole cave which is ridiculously huge. Kids visited a lot of caves so they were kind of bored. None the less it is definitely worth visiting. There is a lift to get back us up which is very cool.

Kids got to complete Junior Ranger program there an added bonus. That gets us to the end of the trip.
