When we finished the Butler's Tour, it was pouring and we were both tired, so we headed out. Leaving the estate was as difficult as getting there. I tried to get some photos, but my camera does not like to take pictures while we are moving so fast, but I have posted two. In one of them, you can see how the vine has completely covered a tree. Unfortunately, these photos do not really show the vastness of the problem.

couldn’t go any further, because the wind was so strong, I was afraid I’d get
blown over on the wet rocks. When we
were done, we started making the hike back down. Although we had the falls to ourselves, we
saw quite a few people hiking up on our way down. A nice thing about camping at the park is you
can get an early start and avoid the crowds.
