    I had a very short but much needed visit with my family in North Carolina. Time flies when you live across the country...it had been 13 years since I saw this side of the family! While here I discovered that my Aunt Dana has a similar fascination with cemeteries.     ... for Christmas. I know my mom and dad are sad I won't be here yet happy for Johnnie and me. Our plane leaves this afternoon and all is ready. I am awaiting Johnnie to return from work and my limousine. (It is really my mom and dad's truck but limousine sounded much more sophisticated.) We will soon be off to the airport for the next 2 days of flying. I know, we won't arrive in Cairns until December 21st! The time change is really going to mess with us. ...

    T'was the night before take off when all through the house,
    all the creatures were stirring even ourselves.
    Johnnie is crazy and I'm following suit.
