As a foodie I have to say that if you believe that it's difficult to find good food in Ireland or UK it is a myth! Honestly it is pretty easy to find a laundry (launderette) in most towns and for a little higher rate they will wash, dry, fold and deliver your clothes back to your hotel/B&B in one day. Something to think about before you pack all that stuff you will never wear:-)
