It's like magic. I spoke last entry of finally taking that left turn eastward and how I hoped the wind would be at my back. I had 25 miles to go and 3 hours of sunlight left. I usually make it if I put my head down and ride as hard as I can. Up hills or down hills, I just work. It's exhausting, but I usually make it.

I left Oakland a little later then expected…so much stuff to pack in my little mini cooper and get my co-pilot Vannah comfortable for the looong ride! It was 102 driving through Vacaville. We did get some cool down relief in the Tahoe Mountains but the temps sored in the 100's after Reno. Luckily the mister/fan bottle I bought came in real handy for this HOT-DOG! Lol.

... got me really pumped for the day. It is always nice to see the ride and why we are here. We helped a little at the water stop in Dayton, NV and then again at the Silver Spring's airport.
