Gail finished packing her case and Beth (Gail's niece) who is also coming with us, arrived to spend the night. Gail and Beth both dyed their hair and we had a couple of drinks.
Can't wait for Washington & New York.
... we could see the attendant was doing a little dance. She kept doing this dance while she was processing Gail's card so I asked her what she was listening to while she worked. She told me she wasn't listening to anything, that she was busting to use the restroom, chucked the card in the car and bolted. We roared laughing and went home. I so wish I had videoed it.
Another wonderful day.
I didn't get out of bed till around 10 but had been awake since 8ish. I chatted with Nereo for a while, then showered and got ready to go out for lunch.
Kay, Gail's sister, picked me up and we went to Applebee's. They have a lunch special combo of 2 salads for $9.00. Really good deal and really good food. It was nice to have a salad. Gail met us there in her lunch hour.

After lunch, we played cards and looked at photo albums. Elizabeth has 29 great grandchildren.
I had a very quiet afternoon reading and catching up on emails.
We cleaned up outside from the party and I found this butterfly that I thought could only be found in Queensland.

Everyone was up by about 8:30 and cooking a huge breakfast. There was bacon, scrambled eggs, homegrown tomatoes, biscuits and milk gravy. Biscuits are not like ours. They call them cookies. Their biscuits are kind of like a savoury scone. The milk gravy is made out of the fat of the bacon and flour and milk. Sounds pretty awful but its actually really good. Brilliant for soaking up the previous nights alcohol .. ...
