      The concert went off without any major issues, though my camera angle did not offer much for the production due to its position. Oh well, I learn to deal with what I have. It turned out good enough, but I strive for better than that.

      ... the Spanish, plus it's just 10 miles from the Mexican border. A lot of the attractions have an old Mexican theme, especially Old Town which is where the original settlement started. This is up the hill a few miles from downtown, and has a collection of old saloons, barns, blacksmiths etc. It's set up for tourists but they did a good job.It basically feels a bit like you stepped into an old Sergio Leonie Western.

      Today, we woke up and headed out to the San Diego Wild Safari Park. It was AWESOME! We saw a Monitor Lizard up close, and then we went for a Wild Ride! Wild I tell you - because we got on the back of a truck and went out into the wild safari to see herds of Antelope, Gazelles, Impalas, buffalo, deer, ostrich, cattle, black rhinoceros, northern and southern white rhinoceros and giraffes. In fact, we got to feed the giraffe leaves and the rhinos apples. My favorite animal was ...

      ... done. But it got done.

      She hands me three boarding passes (see pictures). This is odd. You see my plane ticket (see picture) is from San Diego to Minneapolis and then from Minneapolis to Sao Paulo. If I count well, that's two flights. Yet I get three boarding passes. Mmmhhh, look like there's a stopover in Detroit. Anyway.       ... they were only serving fruit! No French fries, no burgers, just cups of fresh fruit. After a couple hours of shopping in the 30C heat we decided to go to a Wal-Mart to get a few groceries and other things we needed. We were there only a few moments when we realized that the muzac was playing Christmas carols: Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer. Oh dear. We also noticed that all the signage was in English and Spanish. Too be expected I guess but still a surprise.
