... lizards who would jump out of the way and scurry across the rocks only to dive behind one out of sight. Birds were singing their lovely tune hopping along the rocks and flying between them and the few shrubs along the way. Harris ground squirrels popped out seemingly from no where, startling me and making me jump...which wasn't a good thing on the face of a mountainside! Many species of cacti lined the rocks on the lower region of the trail, closer to the summit there were ...

Kyle picked us up, the others were wooing as I entered the van, apparently I could not remember everything from the former night. I lost a game of beerpong -.- and puked on a tent etc. Kyle gave us his first wildcard of many, and drove us to his parents house, where we ate very good food, played water volleyball, and relaxed in the hot ...

... also had the octopus which was roasted nicely and topped with a mushroom and spring onion reduction, aioli, and a garlic and coriander vinaigrette. This item was not fishy at all...perfectly cooked and not rubbery at all.
For our entrees, one dining guest had the Short Rib Pappardelle with cremini mushrooms, carrots, and park. It was really good, although this diner thought it could have had more flavor. The short rib was very tender, the pasta al dente, and the vegetables, ...
