On Monday we went into town and toured the San Diego Aircraft Carrier Museum. The museum is actually the USS Midway, an aircraft carrier that was part of the US navy from the end of World War II until is was decommissioned in 1992. ... the road to find the road stopped on reaching a Westfield Mall. After a few enquiries, we found out that we had to walk around the mall to get back onto Third Avenue.
Ten minutes later, we arrived at our hostel. The check-in guy was a little weird but helpful all the same. The hostel was in a really cool traditional building and the bathrooms were full of roll top tubs and large open atrium showers - I loved it! We ...
... but the ambiance was unmatched. The demographics seemed to represent every country, all of the people were really fun and easygoing and I made a ton of lasting friends, the kitchen was huge, there were nightly activities, a pool table, a huge computer lab, and a movie area. Downstairs was a liquor store next door and the ever fun Joint Bar just a flight downstairs, which hosted karaoke night and themed parties every night. At night, the cafeteria became a beer pong arena.
Je dois quand meme admettre que le spectacle était beau, avec même des oiseaux multicolores magnifiques, et les dresseurs faisaient des plongeons hallucinants! Ensuite, je me suis baladée au hasard, suis allée dire bonjour aux phoques, requins, pingouins, ours polaires et bélugas.
Et j'ai fini par atterrir à la piscine du «Dolphin Reef», où les dauphins nagent à leur guise, sont nourris, et s'ils en ont envie, peuvent s'approcher du bord ...
