... that makes sense I guess. Next on our agenda is a stop in Ruby Falls which is a tour into a limestone cave. The usual array of limestone features that one finds in every limestone cave across the world except that at the end of the walk into the cave there is this absolutely beautiful 100ft waterfall. Apparently they do not know where the water comes from except that the clue is that when there is a drought, the water is only a trickle though it has ...

... for the kids to play in. The
adults got in too and it wasn't crowded at the time we were there.
Plus it was so hot everyone dried quickly. That was a fun 90 minutes
and a break in the rushing around and driving routine that is part of
    every day here in USA.

Drove to Calhoun GA from there and
settled at another Walmart. Less hot today so hoping the exhaustion
from lack of sleep will help us all settle tonight.

Hopefully small lesson to the kids in being good to others.

... up the railway layouts. However, the tornado had apparently hit the I-40 about 16 miles away, so one of the operators kindly came back and opened up for us. They have several large layouts in different gauges, ranging from Z to 1, and Cliff was more than happy to chat to Mike and watch the trains!

Eventually we headed back to Chattanooga. Alongside the road several freight trains had stopped, and at one point we had to turn around and go ...
