        Goodbye Atlanta, Hello Tennessee

... got so caught up in conversation we didn’t realise the time and had to leave rather promptly as I didn’t want to stress Cheryl out if we were running late. So we said our thank you’s and goodbyes and apologise we had to rush out.

En route to Kingsport, Tennessee, and what a long drive it was. It was only 4hours or so, but it really dragged out and we started getting impatient, but I think it was because we were running off lack of sleep ...

... this was a major test, usually Aaron would choose the bargain cheaper one, so of course, I passed the test and got the cheaper creamy pink handbag (secretly I think he was proud of me haha).

So we head to the movie Jurassic World with Patrice and Kelley. We get to the ticket booth and tell us to pay $35, Patrice kicked up a stink and asked why it was so expensive, and they said it was because it was in 3D. None of us wanted to see it in 3D ...

... me. There was no line and no time for my mind to prepare me for what I was about to do. The last time I did this ride with Amy 4 years ago, I had gripped the bars so tight that I had caused indentations between my thumb and pointing fingers, plus the shaking! On the giant drop at home, I scream from being so frightened that I end up in automatic tears at the end of the ride. So of course, Acrophobia did just that to me. I don’t know why I continue to go on these rides that make ...

        ... Patrice walks through the
door 15minutes later and I introduce Aaron and we play quick catch ups before
she has to return back to work. It’s a beautiful day outside, so we all decide
to finish our lunch and hang out by the pool the rest of the afternoon.

Kelley introduced us to “Lime-a-rita’s” which came in all different flavours (i.e.
lime, mango, strawberry, etc). So we drank them and enjoyed ...

        ... the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Interstate 81 is a very scenic route.

However, when we got to Chattanooga, the temperature on the
car thermometer was 105 degrees. Don’t think
that was the actual temperature, but it was definitely hot outside. So grateful to now be with Bill & Aleatha and looking forward to our trip to the Georgia Aquarium ...
