Well, we're finally here!! Landed in Dallas this afternoon after a stop over in LA. Took us about 4 hours to sort out the rental car pick up, and our new phones. After a couple of frustrating phone calls it's all finally up and running -yay! Drove about an hour from the airport, East, and staying at a motel for the night. So far, so ...

Day 17 - Baton Rouge Bound

A travel blog entry by expeditioners on Jun 07, 2014

Not much to tell about our campground for the night. It was an unreserved stop off of I-20 just east of Dallas. It suited us fine for just an overnight however, the campground had very little else to offer.
We got a decent start to finish our I-20 eastward track to Shreveport. From there, south on I-49 to Lafayette then the final leg to Baton Rouge.
