The Air & Space Museum was just one of the Smithsonian Museums, it would take a week or more to go through them all. It was very impressive & all FREE so it got me curious & wanting to know more about who the benefactor was I checked this Smithson fellow out at:

Here we saw and learnt lots about the history of flight, aviation and space exploration. Some highlights were the Wright Brothers exhibit with the original Wright Flyer, and the actual Apollo 11 landing capsule which astronauts Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins returned to earth in after their successful moon landing expedition.
