Driving to Posen didn't give me very much confidence in where we were going (went through some seemingly shady neighborhoods with boarded up windows and bars on the doors), but once we got to the park in Posen where the circus has been held the last few years, we breathed a sigh of relief. ... which was always updating us on where we were, and the time we were supposed to arrive. The plane was supposed to arrive at 7:20am, but was now saying 7:50 which was terrible because my layover was only 30 mins and my flight to Madrid was leaving at 7:50. Well, this is where the trouble begins of my day. As we were getting closer to Germany, the time said it was landing 0720 ish but not to worry because the airport is not that big and I should make it to my next flight.

... cliches we've heard a hundred times, but a trip like this put it all into a realistic perspective. The cliches are all true!

It took Laura over a week to start feeling normal again. It could be the fact that it took an extra week after we returned to finish our Malaria medicine.
