... a trip through Bryce Canyon in 2007. Their home is in Michigan but they spend 6 months every year in Quartzsite. As you can see, the desert can be a very small place. We are now in a very nice RV park near Tucson, called Picacho Peak RV Resort. Prescott is a small, affluent, fairly new city, about which we knew nothing, so after breakfast we decided it was time to check it out. Apparently residents of Phoenix escape to Prescott at the weekends. We drove downtown and it was incredibly busy, it was very hard to find somewhere to park. Eventually we parked up and realized that they had a really big Art and Craft Fair in Courthouse Park. It was very cool, lots of southwestern art and stuff. Of ...

    And We're Off

We are finally on the road after a morning of stress trying to make sure we have everything taken care of. As we were leaving we got a low tire alert so had to stop and check all the tires and fill with air. We made it to Quartzsite with no problems. Just relaxed after a long day.
