WE DID IT!!!! We just finished our first 11 days of dry camping and boy we have learned a lot about the do's and don'ts of our home. If you do not know what dry camping is......it is like tent camping, but with a comfy bed.....no hooking up to electricity, water or sewer and showers were few and very short due to water conservation. Sunday, April 14 – We left Ron and Gloria's this morning around 9:45 and headed west on interstate 10 to the CA border. Nice straight ride and we paid the lowest for diesel only $3.67 but in CA it costs close to $4.59 so I guess we will be helping CA taxpayers pay their bills.
