    • A little longer than we had expected, but we enjoyed the drive.
    • Made a quick gas and restroom stop at "EZ Stop".
    • I could tell that not many people come to this gas station, because the restrooms seemed very unattended to.
    • Paid $42.68 for gas.
    • Departure time: 11:00 AM.

    • Week of Jeeping

WE DID IT!!!! We just finished our first 11 days of dry camping and boy we have learned a lot about the do's and don'ts of our home. If you do not know what dry camping is......it is like tent camping, but with a comfy bed.....no hooking up to electricity, water or sewer and showers were few and very short due to water conservation. Denis loved the road and for me it was okay going ...

Exited Interstate 8 on Highway 111 at El Centro, heading north towards Brawley then east on the 78. Passed massive cattle ranch where some of the cattle looked like ...

Sunday, April 14 – We left Ron and Gloria's this morning around 9:45 and headed west on interstate 10 to the CA border. Nice straight ride and we paid the lowest for diesel only $3.67 but in CA it costs close to $4.59 so I guess we will be helping CA taxpayers pay their bills. We stopped at a rest area and it was nice. On our way we stopped at Quartzsite, AZ on our way. Quartzsite is the town that in the ...
