... br> The first day is the day we awoke early in our campground Liberty Harbor, right across the Hudson River on the most scenic side of Manhattan, and got all of the early morning fog photos of the previous blog entry.
We caught breakfast at the Starbucks on this side, then after preparing picnic lunch and a backpack for the day in the City at the van, we strolled over and caught the passenger ferry to the City. It is a speedy little passenger ferry ...

... zero! We stopped for gas just outside of Helena, Mt. and asked if they had an air pump. Sure, but it would be next to impossible to get our rig up to it. A fellow gasoline patron chimed in and told Mike about a place called Al Chaffee Tires.

We had previously set up a mystery shop for today so that we could get a free dinner. The idea is that we go to a place, eat there, fill out an evaluation afterwards, and if it meets their specifications they pay us a set amount ...

... the city. We pass the Pioneer Mountains and then come up to the Absoroka Mountains Range just past Billings.

There was a great rest area on the top of a hill and you could look over the area and see for miles. It explained the Bozeman Pass and the collection of fossils that have been found in the area.

Today we traveled from Kalispell to Belgrade Montana. We saw some pretty mountains along the way. There was a lot of open land and you could see forever. That's why they call it Big Sky Country. Just as we were arriving at our destination, there was a big wind storm that kicked up. You couldn't see in front of you when you were going by farmland. The dust from the farms kicked up. Tomorrow we are going to Yellowstone National Park and Grand Tetons. We are staying in Jackson ...
