Today is the second to the last day of our trip. I will drive from Williams, AZ to Barstow, CA on I-40. About the only reason to leave the interstate today is to buy gas and eat lunch.

Drove from Vegas (late as usual) to the Hoover Dam about 26 miles away. We drove across the Dam after going through security as its the 6th biggest terrorist target in the US. After parking up in the RV car park we walked to the Tours office in 126f heat !!!!! It was windy and felt like a hairdryer !!!! Tour was great and explained what happened …
We packed up this morning and said farewell to Las Vegas and our Oasis in the desert. Tonight we will be at Huntington Beach in California. It's our last night with Harvey so the beach seems like a nice way to finish. It's great being back on the road after our little rest in Vegas. How has this motel rated in the past?
Good food, good people and good price.
It was our stop between Disneyland and Vegas (what's the difference)
Good shopping at the outlets and proximity to all of the desert attractions including the Old Route 66.
