Today we decided to go to Grabill, about 15 minutes drive Northeast. Grabill has a large Amish community (10th largest in the USA according to wikipedia) so I thought it would be cool for Darren to experience it and see if we could go horse and buggy spotting!!
We managed to see a few horse and buggy's on the way in...it was a pretty quiet place so we parked up and walked to 'The country shops of Grabill' which is a huge flea market type store. ...
Since we have been back from Niagara Falls we have been sorting everything out so we are ready to head west so it's probably not super exciting for you all...I'll attempt to keep it short.
We got the title for the truck through earlier in the week so we headed to the BMV to title it and get plates for it which we really thought would be a straight forward job....how wrong we were!
We started at the local Fort Wayne BMV branch and all we had to do ...
... we bought a hummingbird feeder to hang outside which has been visited everyday so far! Trying to get a good picture but they are just too darn fast!
If any of you look at the debrands website and see something they really like the look of, just let us know or comment on here and we are happy to taste it for you and let you know how it is. hee hee
Love you all

... to cover us but keep an eye on our blog once we head off as I'm sure we will encounter some interesting nights in it.
We got it back and had to try it out on Steve's porch....the pillars weren't quite far enough away so we are pretty low but you get the idea...see pictures.
Also, I forgot to upload a chipmunk picture I took! We were out at some shops ...
... cool outdoors stuff. We found a cool little outdoors store but it was kinda pricey!! We were looking for hiking boots which have proved hard to find here and this store (despite saying on their website that they had them) did not have any! They did have some awesome hammocks (ENO is the brand), kayaks, bikes etc... We left empty handed but may be back at some point as Darren found a cool bracelet he liked, made of bicycle chain links...one of those things ...
