... gasping and surprisingly tasty plane food - I eventually landed in Lima. My bags took forever to arrive. I had begun planning how long I could get away with wearing the same clothes when I sighted the most wonderful sight. My bags limped out from behind the flappy grey shutters and rolled toward me. Whispering promises that i would never leave them again, I heaved the bags onto my back and under my arm and made for the exit. There Mili was, with a brilliant sign 'Julia Fernando' - I had made ...
Atlanta was such a great time. I went for PSO after joining the AmeriCorps VISTA. I was to go through an extensive 4 day training and head to my site the day after. I arrived at the hotel early on Monday. It was beautiful! Over 100 years old, the architecture was magnificent and the inside was super fancy! It was spectacular. We didn't see sharks, but we did see sea turtles. Rian directed me to something and I thought he was talking about a fish. It was unimpressive. But then, he took my camera from me and pointed it in the right direction. It was an ...
