    ... and high winds for the afternoon. The winds were starting to pick up just before we arrived, and continued to build for the rest of the afternoon, then around 9pm, the wind really got going and the rain did too. We got a pretty good drenching, but luckily, no hail or damaging winds.

    ... Food! Lunch buffet was 7.95 each, including salad and dessert! eat your heart out all those places that charge you $6.99 for a measly sandwich.

    Tonight will be the last night in the RV, and tomorrow we get to sleep in a real bed again. My back is very grateful for this thought.

    ... in the area, none. It is raining and we are in our tent at the back of the United Methodist Church. Yep, right downtown. We stopped early because of rain. Our tent is humid, but warm. So far it is still dry inside. So far the pastor has not seen us and kicked us out. We think we're so sly setting up camp behind a small air conditioning unit. Scott crosses the street after cover of darkness and returns with hamburgers and french fries from the crossroads store/service station ...

    ... all night about losing a day of riding. I was hoping to get to see Debbie, but with all our planning and getting ready, she was too far away. We traveled back and forth between Ohio River towns to find topo maps. From big box retailer to sports stores and eventually the public library, we struck out until we went into the C store within a wedge of our motel and there we found Delorme's Ohio.
