    ... we continued on to our hotel in Eagan, Minnesota, just minutes away from the Mall of America. Leah chose "Dick's Last Resort" in the MOA for her birthday dinner. We had a great time, cracking up at the sarcasm and antics of our crazy waiter, most of which are a little too racy to repeat in this blog. Leah described "Dick's Last Resort" as a PG-13 version of "Ed Debevick's," another favorite of our kids. After a little shopping, we headed back to the hotel for a good night's sleep!

    ... absolutely breathtaking and of course from which the most amazing blessing in my life came.

  • What is considered common courtesy and what is not in the two cultures was an adjustment for me. Always being taught to think of others and let them go first, I've come to the conclusion that the Chinese have no choice to be pushy otherwise they'll never get on an elevator, on a bus or otherwise.

    ... a table with Ralph and Helene, who we spoke with at length throughout the journey, and they were great company. Rodney and Vera, and Jason our tour guide also joined us.
