... we continued on to our hotel in Eagan, Minnesota, just minutes away from the Mall of America. Leah chose "Dick's Last Resort" in the MOA for her birthday dinner. We had a great time, cracking up at the sarcasm and antics of our crazy waiter, most of which are a little too racy to repeat in this blog. ... up and ready but there's not much to ready when you're about sit for the next 20 some hours. I finished last minute packing, loaded the car and we were on the way. It was really sweet to have Neel and Anika want to come to the airport, but tricky when it came to the goodbyes. Last summer it was the three of us just gooning around every day so this is going to be a change for us all.

... you could even purchase your tickets in advance... if you lived in Mexico.

So even after I’d made all my other travel arrangements, the bus ticket was my one loose end. Well, not the only one.

I spoke to Luis one last time in March, telling him the dates I’d be in Mexico and what time I would arrive so he could arrange my stay at El Campamento Tortuguero (tortuga means “turtle”). He told me food and lodging ...
